Bio
I currently advise Open Option and Pre-Law students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and teach LAS 101 in the fall semesters, for our incoming Open Option and Pre-Professional students.
IPreviously, I taught Introduction to Women and Gender Studies (WGS 201), which I also taught as a Master’s student. During graduate school, I also taught Introduction to Sociology, Social Class and Inequality (SOC 331), and Dialogues on Diversity (H SCI 150).
IMy degrees are in Sociology (PhD, The University of Edinburgh, 2019; MS, Iowa State University 2012; BA, Iowa State University 2010), Social Research (MSc, The University of Edinburgh, 2013), Religious Studies (BA, Iowa State University, 2010), and Liberal Studies (BLS, Iowa State University, 2010).
II have completed RESPOND training for Campus Mental Health, Recovery Ally training, and Green Dot violence intervention training. I am also an advisor to The Pride Alliance student organization.
