Bio
I coordinate the College’s presence at campus visit programs, working to provide an informative, exciting, and impactful experience when you visit Iowa State. Additionally, I oversee the LAS Student Ambassador program and serve as an instructor for LAS 1010, the orientation course for Open Option and Pre-Professional students.
My experiences in recruitment started as an undergraduate student, where I served as a campus tour guide and welcomed visitors to campus. Since then, I’ve worked in numerous areas of higher education, including Admissions, University Marketing and Relations, Student Programming, and Campus Visit events. Meeting and engaging with prospective students and their supporters is the best part of my role. There is a lot of information to process during the college search process, and I’m committed to helping students determine if Iowa State is the right fit. As a firm believer in the societal benefits of education, I strongly value the skills developed through a liberal arts education: problem-solving, critical thinking, impactful communication, and a willingness to engage in the difficult conversations we have every day.
I’m a proud alum of Iowa State University, earning my Master of Education in Student Affairs. After seeing the high-impact opportunities available to Iowa State students, I wanted to play my part in helping students discover what awaits them as a Cyclone. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Family Services & Mental Health.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions about Iowa State or the college search process. I look forward to cheering you on as you begin your college search!
