Welcome! We are excited you are considering an adventure in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) for the 2023-2024 academic year.

The LAS College Scholarship Application period for 2023-2024 first-year college scholarships is September 15, 2022 – January 10, 2023. The application will be available on OneApp at that time. Incoming first year students can continue with the OneApp after January 10 in order to be considered for department scholarships that have a later deadline.

See below to get started. Please check department  websites for more information as your department and other ISU programs may have an earlier or later deadline.  You can see the LAS department scholarship information here.

All applications are processed through the OneApp linked below. The OneApp will ask you about your experiences, activities, jobs, interests and future plans. You must submit the General and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences sections to be considered. Once you have, look for any recommended opportunities that you may qualify for. You are encouraged to apply every year while you are at Iowa State.

How do I sign in to OneApp?
As an incoming student, you will log in with the Admissions Account you created when you registered for a campus visit or submitted your application for admission to Iowa State.  Create My Admissions Account

How do I accept my Offer of Admission?
You can find the process to accept your offer of admission and create your NET-ID in your admission offer letter or at this website: Accept My Offer of Admission

If I have accepted my Offer of Admission, what log in will I use for OneApp? You will be asked to convert your Admissions account to a Net-ID after you accept your offer of admission. This Net-ID will then be used to log in to the OneApp and all other university systems.

Start My Scholarship Application You must submit the General and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences portions of the OneApp to be considered for scholarships. Once submitted, look for other recommended scholarship opportunities.
