Apply for scholarships

We are proud of your accomplishments to date and encourage you to apply for scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The LAS OneApp Scholarship Application for current students is open from September 20, 2023 – April 11, 2024.

Your major’s department and other Iowa State programs may have an earlier or later deadline. Please check department websites for more information.

All university, college and department applications are processed through OneApp. OneApp will ask about your experiences, activities, jobs, interests, and plans. Complete the General and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences sections in OneApp to be considered. We encourage you to apply for scholarships every year at Iowa State.

All students should complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to qualify for institutional and federal financial aid. We recommend you complete your FAFSA by the priority deadline of February 29, 2024 to be considered for priority financial aid.
