International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO)
The ISSO office provides many resources to assist you while at Iowa State and many ways for you to connect with other students.
Academic Success Center
The Academic Success Center provides academic coaching, tutoring, supplemental instruction, and more. Free tutoring is provided for all international students.
Career Services and Campus Jobs
LAS Career Services can help you write a resume, search for internships, navigate on-campus career fairs, prepare for job interviews and more. Make an appointment early in your college career to see how they can assist you.
CyHire allows students to search for jobs that employers have posted. These are mostly hourly jobs on campus that allow students to supplement income while in school. As an international student, you can only work on campus unless you have permission from ISSO (International Students and Scholars Office) for academic related work off campus.
Scholarships
LAS provides scholarship opportunities for incoming freshmen, current students, and transfer students. Both domestic and international students are encouraged to apply each year during their college career. Additionally, there are departmental and university scholarships for which you can apply.
